En+ Group, Delo Group sign deal with green power certificates

MOSCOW, Apr 18 (PRIME) -- Russian multi-industry holding En+ Group and logistics holding company Delo Group have signed a deal with green power certificates under the Carbon Zero standard, Russia’s largest, En+ Group said in a statement on Tuesday.

Under the deal, Delo will redeem 30 million certificates that confirm production of power at the Krasnoyarsk dam of En+ Group. The certificates ensure compensation of emission of greenhouse gases exceeding 10,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent.

Delo has become the first Russian logistics company to buy green certificates in the framework of the national voluntary standard Carbon Zero.
